Holders Serbia and six-time winners Spain are among the top seeds for the UEFA European Under-19 Championship elite round draw, which will be streamed live on UEFA.com from Nyon at 12.15CET on Thursday.

Following the qualifying round, 27 teams progressed to compete in the second stage next spring alongside one side seeded to start at this juncture: Spain.

The 28 hopefuls have been split into four seeding pots according to their coefficient, which was based on performance in the qualifying round. Serbia, who defeated France in last season's final, were one of four countries to win all three of their matches along with Portugal, Czech Republic and Georgia.

In the draw, seven groups will be formed, all consisting of one team apiece from the four seeding pots. No nation may face opponents they played in the qualifying round. The hosts will then be selected for each mini-tournament, and only the section winners will advance to join hosts Hungary in the finals from 19–31 July 2014.
