Andrija Balić (Croatia)
Balić signed for Udinese in February from Hajduk Split. The talented midfielder favours an attacking role and is quick and agile, as well as possessing excellent technical ability.

Steven Bergwijn (Netherlands)
The PSV Eindhoven striker set up a winning goal on his UEFA Champions League debut against CSKA Moskva in December. Strong, fast and smart, he is a real threat running at defences.

Konrad Laimer (Austria)
A Salzburg regular, Laimer has already appeared in the UEFA Europa League. The midfielder cites Steven Gerrard as a role model and his dynamic style evokes the ex-England man.

Manuel Locatelli (Italy)
Labelled the new Andrea Pirlo after changing his position from attacking midfielder to deep-lying playmaker at AC Milan, Locatelli has shone for the Azzurrini. He made his Serie A bow in April.

Kylian Mbappé (France)
Two elite round goals, including the winner against Serbia, underlined forward Mbappé's potential. Attacking from wide areas, he has explosive pace, is a fine dribbler and passes well with both feet.

Philipp Ochs (Germany)
Ochs's speed, drive and dynamism have earned him frequent outings for Hoffenheim. At home anywhere on the left, he can operate as attack-minded left-back or classic winger.

Gonçalo Rodrigues (Portugal)
The Benfica midfielder played all six qualifying games and gained precious experience in the UEFA Youth League this term, scoring one goal and creating three others in eight matches.

Freddie Woodman (England)
A 2014 U17 champion, the goalkeeper featured in every minute of England's qualification campaign. In a team that's hardly prolific in front of goal, he can be relied on to keep out the opposition.
