Wilson settles on Scotland squad

Scotland coach Tommy Wilson has named his party for the U19 finals with defender Garry Kenneth saying the side "have a genuine chance".

Scotland are in confident mood as they prepare to travel to Poland for the finals of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship, with coach Tommy Wilson having the luxury of naming a settled squad for the tournament which kicks off on Tuesday evening. Wilson has made only one change from the team that eliminated 2004 European U17 champions France in the Elite round, with Brian Gilmour replacing Greg Ross in the 18-man party. "It's a fantastic opportunity so we have to grab it with both hands," said defender Garry Kenneth. "I believe we have a genuine chance of winning the tournament and that's the mentality we have. There's a brilliant spirit in the squad and we're all confident of doing well." Scotland's Group B campaign starts against Portugal.
