Romania have been confirmed as hosts of the 2010/11 UEFA European Under-19 Championship and the 52 sides hoping to join them in the eight-team final tournament will go into the qualifying round draw at 17.30CET this afternoon.

Thirteen groups
The teams in the draw will be split into two pots based on their coefficient, with the associations ranked 1 to 26 – including last season's winners Ukraine and 2009/10 finals hosts France – in Pot A and Pot B comprising the countries ranked 27 to 52. The teams will be divided into 13 pools of four which include two teams from Pot A and two from Pot B. The winners and second-placed sides from each section, together with the two best third-placed sides overall, will qualify for the Elite round, which comprises seven groups of four teams. The seven Elite round group winners join the hosts in the 2011 final tournament. Romania qualify automatically for the final tournament as hosts.
