• The Marijampolé Football Club Stadium in Marijampole will stage four group matches and the final of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship.

• Opened in 2008, the capacity was increased from 4,500 to its current level in 2009 before the stadium hosted a 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifier between Lithuania and Romania.

• The stadium is the home ground of FK Sūduva, who lifted the Lithuanian Cup in 2006 and 2009 and finished in the top three of the Lithuanian First Division in five of the last six seasons.

• Located in the south of the country, close to the Polish border, Marijampole is the seventh largest city in Lithuania with a population of almost 50,000.
