• Home to Újpest FC, the Szusza Ferenc Stadion was opened on 17 September 1922 and was known as Megyeri úti stadion until being renamed in honour of former Hungarian striker Ferenc Szusza in 2003.

• In 1946 renovations took the ground's capacity to 45,117 – making it the largest stadium in Hungary at the time.

• The ground underwent extensive remodelling work in 2000 and 2001, when it was converted to an all-seater venue and a roof was added.
