Russia 4-0 Kazakhstan Russia's twin threat proved too much for Kazakhstan with brothers Dmitri and Kirill Kombarov scoring two of the goals.

Russia's twin threat proved too much for Kazakhstan in Group 4 with brothers Dmitri and Kirill Kombarov helping themselves to a goal each in a 4-0 victory.

Convincing win
The home side made the perfect start with Dmitri Kombarov opening the scoring in the first minute from an Artem Dzyuba cross. His twin brother Kirill doubled the advantage two minutes before half-time after good approach play from Victor Fayzulin and Oleg Kozhanov. It was 3-0 soon after the restart when Fayzulin added his name to the list of scorers from an acute angle. Nazir Kozharov wrapped up a convincing win with nine minutes remaining after an excellent pass from Oleg Samsonov.

Perfect records
The result moves Russia to the top of Group 4 on goal difference from Spain with both sides taking a maximum nine points from their three games. Kazakhstan are still searching for their first point of the campaign having tasted defeat in all four of their qualifiers.
