Spain continued their perfect start to UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying with a 5-0 defeat of Kazakhstan in Antequera, a match which was illuminated by a spectacular goal from Bojan Krkić.

First-half flurry
The result took Iñaki Sáez's team three points clear in Group 4 ahead of their next game, away to second-placed Russia on 20 August. Four first-half goals were the catalyst for their victory against the section's bottom side, with the Club Atlético de Madrid midfielder Jurado opening the scoring inside the first ten minutes and Diego Capel, Bojan – with an acrobatic flicked volley – and Juan Manuel Mata all beating visting goalkeeper Andrei Shabanov before the interval. A fine win was rounded off by a goal for debutant José María Callejón on the hour.

'Style of Ronaldinho'
"Bojan's goal was in the style of Ronaldinho," said Sáez, whose side have scored 15 goals without conceding in winning their five qualifying fixtures. "We played well going forward and scored some spectacular goals. The match had two totally different halves which is normal when you're leading by as much as we were. It's too much to ask the team to carry on playing the same way for the whole game so I gave other players a chance. Now we have 15 points and our qualification is that much nearer."
