De Guzman double
Estonia, bottom of Group 5 without a point, held their hosts until five minutes into the second half when De Guzman put Foppe de Haan's side ahead. The Netherlands then had to wait until the closing ten minutes to secure the points when goals from Ismaïl Aissati and De Guzman ensured the Jong Oranje preserved their perfect record in the section. Spain are the only other side yet to drop a point in qualifying.

Flowing move
Neither goalkeeper was forced to extend himself in the first half, with Royston Drenthe's effort which hit the post the closest either side came to opening the scoring. But five minutes in the second half it was De Guzman who was in the right place to score when he finished off a well-worked move between Aissati and Evander Sno.

Aissati effort
Aissati then doubled the hosts' advantage eight minutes from time. The PSV Eindhoven midfielder broke down the left, but when his cross was spilled by the Estonia goalkeeper, Aissati mopped up the loose ball after being teed up by De Guzman. In the final minute, De Guzman rounded off a fine debut with a curling a free-kick over the wall, much to the 20-year-old's delight.

'Dream debut'
"It was a dream debut," said the Feyenoord midfielder. "The first goal was not really a beauty, but the attack that led to it was. And a goal is a goal. I am glad I am now with Jong Oranje, and I am glad that I was of immediate importance to the team. I felt at home here right away."
