The eyes of Europe will be on Poland this summer with the UEFA European Under-21 Championship taking place. The Polish foreign currency exchange service Cinkciarz is looking to cash in on the extra publicity the competition will bring and has signed up to become a global sponsor for the tournament.

The U21 EURO is a biannual event and Poland has been given the honour of hosting the tournament for the first time. Beginning on 16 June, the championship will take place in six cities – Bydgoszcz, Gdynia, Kielce, Krakow, Lublin and Tychy.

"We are delighted with the contract that we have signed with UEFA. We will prepare an extensive programme to engage with fans during the final tournament," said the vice-chairman of Cinkciarz, Piotr Kiciński.

Cinkciarz will also be presenting its international brand Conotoxia at the tournament and Kiciński understands that the company has a great opportunity to strengthen its brand both at home and abroad.

"Thanks to our partnership with the U21 EURO, we will be able to present our international brand, Conotoxia, to football fans worldwide," he added. "In doing so we will strengthen the position of Cinkciarz in Poland as well. We are sure this cooperation will be favourable for both parties."

Cinkciarz will be joining some of the biggest global brands in sponsoring the tournament. The foreign currency exchange service is the only global partner from Poland and their brand will appear on pitchside advertisement boards, tickets and the official tournament website. The company will also have exclusive rights to foreign currency exchange, money transfers, payments and Forex services for the duration of the tournament.

"We are delighted to welcome Cinkciarz as a sponsor of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship," said Guy-Laurent Epstein, marketing director of UEFA Events SA.

"As a successful Polish company with global ambitions we are sure that the partnership can help grow their business whilst simultaneously helping to promote the competition. This demonstrates the strength of the newly expanded tournament and we look forward to working with them in the months ahead," he added.
