Polanski back for Germany

Germany's preparations for their Group A decider against Portugal on Sunday have been boosted by the return of midfielder Eugen Polanski.

The 20-year-old missed yesterday's 3-0 defeat by France with a stomach injury, suffered in the 1-0 victory against Serbia and Montenegro last Tuesday in which he scored the only goal. The VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach playmaker took part in full training today and is expected to go back into Dieter Eilts' starting lineup.
