Belgium move into pole position

Belgium 2-1 Bosnia-Herzegovina Belgium take control of Group 7 thanks to Benjamin De Ceulaer and Faris Haroun.

Belgium have taken control of Group 7 after goals from Benjamin De Ceulaer and Faris Haroun ensured a home victory against Bosnia-Herzegovina in La Louviere.

Haroun clincher
The 21-year-old De Ceulaer, of K. Sint-Truidense VV, opened the scoring in the 38th minute with his third goal of the qualifying campaign before KRC Genk midfield player Haroun doubled the lead eight minutes after half-time. The visitors pulled one back on the hour but the home side were always in control

Pole position
Belgium have moved on to ten points from four games, one point clear of nearest rivals Serbia and Montenegro, who next play at home against Spain, a further point behind in third, on Tuesday night. On the same evening, the Belgians can consolidate first place when they travel to play last-placed San Marino, who have no points from five matches.
