Great run
After losing their opening match to France last September, Brian Flynn's side have now won five qualifiers in a row to move clear of Romania – second with a game in hand – and Les Bleuets, both of whom have eleven points. However, Wales had to endure an uncomfortable afternoon in Sarajevo after Bosnia-Herzegovina took the lead through Boubacar Dialiba in the 59th minute, the Senegal-born player converting a pass from captain Petar Jelić.

Zec blow
The home team, under the command of new coach Branimir Tulic, were forced to play the final five minutes with ten men after Ermin Zec was withdrawn through injury – and with the hosts' three substitutes used, Wales took almost immediate advantage. Skipper Joe Jacobson provided the assist for substitute Simon Church to equalise, before indifferent defending cost the Bosnians again as Michael Williams played in Ched Evans for an improbable winner.

Romania matches
Wales complete their group-stage campaign with home (20 August) and away (10 September) fixtures against Romania. Only the group winners are guaranteed a berth in October's qualifying play-off matches.
