Szalai treble floors San Marino

Ádám Szalai helped himself to a hat-trick as Hungary made it two wins from three UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying games in Group 8.

Szalai gave the visitors the lead after just seven minutes but San Marino regrouped and hauled themselves level after the half-hour. Had the home side held on until the interval the game may have taken a different course, but Balázs Farkas scored seconds before the break and Hungary pulled away after the restart. Gellért Iváncsics (57) added the crucial third goal before Szalai scored twice to complete his hat-trick. Ádám Szabó completed the scoring with two minutes remaining.
