De Mul seals points for Belgium

Cyprus 0-2 Belgium
The visiting side moved third in Group 7 as two second-half goals earned their second victory of the campaign.

Belgium leapfrogged Cyprus to move third in UEFA European Under-21 Championship Group 7 as two second-half goals earned their second victory of the campaign in Paphos.

Costly misses
A close-fought encounter burst to life midway through the second period when Cyprus twice went close through Ilias Vattis and Andreas Avraam, but their failure to capitalise was soon punished. On 65 minutes the visiting side were in front when FC Utrecht striker Giuseppe Rossini beat Nikolas Asprogenis from close range, and eight minutes from time Tom De Mul sealed the points with a well-executed free-kick.
