Spain double up on Georgia

Spain 4-0 Georgia Spain maintained their perfect start to qualifying with a second win against Georgia.

Spain defeated Georgia for the second time in Group 4 at the Estadio Municipal Francisco Bonet in Almuñécar on Tuesday to maintained their perfect start in qualifying for the 2009 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.

Spain shine
Iñaki Sáez's side took the lead just 13 minutes in when Xisco Jiménez flicked in Diego Capel's powerful shot. Spain went into the break 2-0 in front after doubling their advantage from the penalty spot, José Jurado scoring on the stroke of half-time after Diego Capel had been brought down in the area. The home side struck twice more after the restart, substitute Esteban Granero making it 3-0 from a free-kick on 68 minutes, before Adrián López rounded out the scoring with ten minutes to play.
