Ukraine continue on right track

Armenia 0-2 Ukraine Kostyantyn Yaroshenko and Denes Oliynyk were on target as the visitors made it two wins from their first three Group 2 outings.

Kostyantyn Yaroshenko and Denes Oliynyk were on target as Ukraine continued to enhance their UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying prospects with a 2-0 victory in Armenia.

Second win
Oleksii Mykhailychenko's side were on top from the kick-off in Yerevan and after missing three early chances, Yaroshenko broke the deadlock five minutes before the interval, firing in after Grigor Meliksetyan could only parry Olexiy Polyanskiy's shot into his path. Oliynyk doubled the advantage from the penalty spot on 62 minutes, picking himself up after being brought down by Hrayr Mkoyan. The 20-year-old had also scored in the 4-0 win against Armenia in June, and although the home team pressed, Gevorg Ghazaryan hitting the post, there was no way back. Ukraine made it two wins from their first three Group 2 outings.
