Fine opener
Led by FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk playmaker Konstyantyn Kravchenko, Ukraine took control of the match from the outset but did not take the lead until the 45th minute as Antonov hit the top corner with a spectacular shot. The FC Shakhtar Donetsk man made it 2-0 after 66 minutes with a shot from a Dmytro Lopa pass, and while Daniel Hasler beat the offside trap and goalkeeper Bohdan Shust to bring Liechtenstein back into the game, Volodymyr Pryyomov's shot from outside the area restored the two-goal advantage in added time.
