Keleş inspires Turkey win

Liechtenstein 2-3 Turkey Two goals from Ergin Keleş, including an added-time winner, helped Turkey maintain their 100 per cent start in Group 2.

Turkey needed a goal in the fifth minute of added time to overcome Liechtenstein in 2009 UEFA European Under-21 Championship Group 2 and maintain their 100 per cent start in qualifying.

Keleş double
Turkey had began their bid to reach Sweden with victory against Ukraine in June but fell behind in the sixth minute to a shock Mathias Christen goal. The visitors turned things round thanks to Ergin Keleş (14) and Ediz Bahtiyaroglu (29) but Liechtenstein looked destined to earn an unlikely point when David Hasler equalised. Their hopes took a blow when Yves Oehri was sent off in the 71st minute, and the extra man counter as Keleş headed a late, late winner.
