UEFA's House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland, hosts the draws for the quarter-finals and semi-finals of the UEFA Women's Champions League this Friday, 20 November, from 12.00CET.
The eight quarter-finalists will be drawn into four pairings, with the first team drawn having home advantage in the first game of the two-legged tie. No sides are seeded. A second draw will decide how the four winning teams are to be paired in the semi-finals, which again will be contested over two legs.
Trophy on display
The draws will determine, also, which winner of the semi-finals will be considered, for administrative purposes, the home side for the final to be played on Thursday 20 May 2010 at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez Stadium in Getafe, Madrid (kick-off 20.30CET). In addition, the new UEFA Women's Champions League trophy – 60cm in height and made of sterling silver – will be displayed at the draw proceedings.
