Women's development programme in action

The UEFA women's football development programme, providing every member association with funds needed to help develop the women's game, was recently showcased in Nyon.

UEFA's continued commitment to the women's game was highlighted in December 2010 when the Executive Committee decided to allocate €100,000 to each of UEFA's 53 member associations every year between 2012 and 2016 for developing the sport. UEFA.com looks at the work of the UEFA women's football development programme following the recent visit of the Azerbaijan Under-16 team to Nyon.
