Top women's football coaches will gather in Nyon this week to discuss developments in the game.

Women's football is gaining in momentum with each event, and the coaches who are contributing to the evolution of the women's game will meet UEFA this week for an in-depth assessment of the female game at European level.

Invaluable exchange
Elite women's coaches from the national-team and club scene will gather at UEFA's headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland next Tuesday to discuss the UEFA women's competitions and development work in the women's game, in what has become an invaluable exchange of information.

DFB tribute
The meeting will feature a tribute to the German Football Association, proud winners of two FIFA Women's World Cups in succession, the latest in China this autumn, and four straight European Women's Championships. The focus will also be on UEFA's women's competitions, the senior, Under-19 and new U17 national-team events and the UEFA Women's Cup for clubs. Talks will concentrate on their current status and possible future improvements.

Injury prevention
Presentations will be given on injury prevention programmes and appropriate training methods for women footballers, and development activities will be examined, with issues such as specific women's coach education programmes and development plans for eliminated teams on the agenda.
