Fatmire Bajramaj will bid farewell to 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam following the UEFA Women's Champions League final on 26 May after agreeing to join 1. FFC Frankfurt.

The Germany playmaker, 23, has signed a three-year contract at Frankfurt, who will bid to become the first team to win four European titles when they enter the 2011/12 UEFA Women's Champions League round of 32 after finishing Frauen-Bundesliga runners-up behind Potsdam. She follows Potsdam goalkeeper Desirée Schumann and Hamburger SV duo Kim Kulig and Ana Maria Crnogorcevic in joining Frankfurt for next season. Meanwhile striker Conny Pohlers, the league's 25-goal top scorer, is leaving Frankfurt for VfL Wolfsburg.

Bajramaj joined Potsdam in 2009, fresh from helping FCR 2001 Duisburg to win the old UEFA Women's Cup. In her first season was part of Turbine's UEFA Women's Champions League triumph against Olympique Lyonnais, the same team they meet in the 2011 final at Craven Cottage, and has also won two straight German titles at Potsdam. On the international front she will aim to aid Germany to a second straight FIFA Women's World Cup on home soil this summer having also been in the team that won UEFA Women's EURO 2009.
