Olympique Lyonnais midfielder Camille Abily will miss their UEFA Women's Champions League round of 32 tie with FC Twente after injuring her ankle in Sunday's 3-0 French top-flight success at Paris Saint Germain FC.

The victory at Lyon's fellow European contenders stretched their run of domestic wins to 49. But it came at a cost after Abily had to leave the field following a challenge from her France and former club team-mate Laura Georges.

Abily, 28, has been ruled out for six weeks, meaning she will be unable to face Twente away on 9 October or at home seven days later, but she will hope to be back for the two-time continental champions and 2013 finalists if they progress to play MTK Hungária FC or 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam in the round of 16 in November. She is also out of France's FIFA Women's World Cup qualifier in Austria on 31 October.
