The eight teams remaining the competition go into an open draw with no seeding or country protection. For the quarter-finals the eight balls are placed in a central bowl and stirred. The first team drawn play the second team drawn at home in the first leg, and the procedure is repeated for the remaining ties.

For the semi-final draw four slips of paper reading 'Winners of quarter-final 1' to 'Winners of quarter-final 4' are placed in a central bowl and are drawn as for the previous round. A draw is then held to determine which semi-final winners will be the 'home' side for the final.
