Sweden moved to the top of UEFA WOMEN'S EURO 2009™ qualifying Group 2 with a comfortable win in Hungary.
Perfect record
Having won all three of their games before today without conceding a goal, Sweden have now caught Italy and the Republic of Ireland on 12 points, but with one and two games in hand respectively. A defeat of Italy on Wednesday would take Sweden to within one victory of the finals in Finland.
Goals
Maria Karlsson gave Sweden the lead before Sara Larsson added another midway through the first half. Therese Lundin made it 3-0 at the break before Nilla Fischer, Lundin against and Josefine Öqvist wrapped up the win. Hungary visit Romania on 28 May hoping to climb of the bottom of the group.
