The Netherlands and Sweden have submitted bids to host UEFA Women's EURO 2013, with the venue for the final tournament to be selected in October.

UEFA received bid dossiers from the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB) and Swedish Football Association (SvFF) by the deadline of 15 June and site visits are now being carried out. An evaluation report will be presented to the UEFA Women's Football Committee at its meeting on 9 September, and it will send a recommendation on the host nation to the UEFA Executive Committee, which in turn will make the appointment at its meeting on 4/5 October in Minsk, Belarus.

The final tournament will be played in the summer of 2013 with qualifying to begin next year. Germany are the holders having retained the trophy in Finland last summer.
