UEFA Women's EURO story: Part four

The fourth and final part of our competition history looks at the contribution of Sweden, who staged the first decider and will be hosts again from 10 July.

Sweden staged the opening leg of the very first UEFA Women's EURO final in 1984 – and 29 years on is preparing to stage the biggest tournament yet.

In the fourth and final part of our look back at the history of the competition, we look at Sweden's association with the event, hearing Hope Powell's memories of that first edition, Victoria Sandell Svensson on their preparations this time and how Steffi Jones’s FIFA Women's World Cup organisational experience has been brought to bear.
