Fresh faces for Spanish sojourn

There are six uncapped players in Bjarne Berntsen's first Norway squad for a training camp in La Manga.

Bjarne Berntsen has named his first squad since being appointed Norway coach on 28 December.

Six newcomers
The 48-year-old has called on 24 players for a training camp in La Manga, Spain. Among those are newcomers Silje Vesterbekkmo, Maritha Kaufmann, Guro Knutsen, Marie Knutsen, Runa Vikestad and Lisa-Marie Woods - none of whom have ever played for their country at senior level.

France next
The trip, scheduled for 19-26 January, marks the start of Norway's preparations for the 2005 UEFA European Women's Championship. They will not play any matches on this trip, although their first friendlies of 2005 will both be at La Manga against France in February.
