A rematch of the 2015 between Germany and Switzerland, and a meeting of Sweden and Norway, are among the highlights of the UEFA European Women's Under-17 Championship elite round draw.

Switzerland, beaten by Spain in last season's final in Iceland, will be up against Germany, who they dethroned 1-0 in the semis, fellow neighbours Austria and Russia. The draw was made by Switzerland's 2014/15 captain Naomi Mégroz, who was in Nyon to receive the Respect Fair Play trophy on behalf of her team.

Spain face Denmark, Ukraine and Northern Ireland, while joining Sweden and Norway in Group 5 are Poland and Scotland. The six group winners in the spring and the runner-up with the best record against the sides first and third in their section will join Belarus in July's finals.
