Top ranked Germany will face Finland, Bulgaria and Serbia in the 2008/09 UEFA European Women's Under-17 first qualifying round when the second edition gets underway next autumn.
Draw
In the draw made in Nyon today, the 40 entrants were split into ten groups, from which the winners and the six runners-up with the best record against the teams first and third in their pool will go into the second qualifying round. As with the inaugural season, which is currently in progress, four teams will eventually qualify for the final tournament, with the hosts to be picked from among their number.
