Stern test await WU19 holders

The draw for the finals has pitted holders England against Scotland, Germany and Italy; Group B contains hosts the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Spain, the Netherlands and France.

Holders England will face three-time champions Germany, 2008 winners Italy and Scotland in Group A of the 2010 UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship final tournament.

Host nation Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, meanwhile, have been pooled with Spain, victors in 2004, the Netherlands and France, champions in 2003. The draw for the finals, which take place between 24 May and 5 June, was made at the Boris Trajkovski Sports Hall in Skopje by Claudio Negroni, UEFA senior development competitions manager, Natasha Andonova, captain of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia Women's U19 team, and former player Ilija Najdoski.

Group matches will be played in Skopje and Kumanovo on 24, 27 and 30 May. All eyes will then be trained on the National Arena Filip II of Macedonia in Skopje and the Baskimi Stadium in Kumanovo for the semi-finals three days later. The former of the last-four fixtures, as well as the final at the same venue, will be screened live on Eurosport. The full match schedule will be confirmed shortly.
