• Opened in 1926, Ullevaal is Norway's national stadium, home to the Norwegian Football Federation and venue for the Norwegian Cup final since 1948. It hosted the finals of the UEFA Women's European Championship in 1987 (Norway 2-1 Sweden) and 1997 (Germany 2-0 Italy).
• Several of the Norway men's national team's biggest matches took place at Ullevaal, not least FIFA World Cup qualifying victories over England in 1981 (2-1, "Your boys took one hell of a beating") and 1993 (2-0), as well as a 4-2 friendly win against world champions Brazil in 1997.
• From its opening until 2009, FK Lyn were tenants and the stadium remains the home of five-time champions Vålerenga IF, who finished 11th last term.
Oslo
