Second qualifying round draw

The second qualifying round draw splits 24 teams into six groups of four, which will produce seven sides to join hosts Turkey in the 2012 final tournament.

15 November, Nyon

The second qualifying round draw features 24 nations – top seeds Germany, France and England, ten first qualifying round group winners and ten runners-up as well as the third-placed team with the best record against the sides first and second in their section.

The sides will be drawn into six groups of four to be played in spring, with one team in each pool appointed mini-tournament hosts. Full details of the draw will be confirmed nearer the date.

Seven teams will qualify to join hosts Turkey in the final tournament between 2 and 14 July 2012; the six group winners and the runners-up with the best record against the teams first and third in their pool.
