Norway will stage the 2014 UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship following a decision at the UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Istanbul in March 2012.

The country co-hosted the 1997 UEFA European Women's Championship and four years later finished runners-up on home turf in the Women's U18 event, the precursor to this competition – this will be their first 'home' UEFA finals since then.
