Norway booked their passage into the knockout stages of the FIFA Women's World Cup in with an impressive 7-2 victory over Ghana in Hangzhou that left them winners of Group C.
Goals galore
Goals from Lene Storloekken, Ragnhild Gulbrandsen and Ane Stangeland Horpestad settled the game by half-time before Isabell Herlovsen and substitute Lise Klaveness struck after the break and Gulbrandsen grabbed two more to complete her hat-trick. Adjoa Bayor and Florence Okoe replied for Ghana. Norway will now play the tournament hosts China in Wuhan on Sunday. In the battle for the second place in Norway's section, Australia scraped into the last eight following an added time Cheryl Salisbury equaliser against Canada. The 2-2 draw means Canada finish third in the group and exit the tournament while Australia face a quarter-final against Brazil.
