Vidarsdóttir ensures Iceland win

Portugal 0-6 Iceland Iceland ended their fixtures on a high as Margrét Lára Vidarsdóttir scored four goals to take her qualifying tally to nine.
Iceland ended their FIFA Women's World Cup bid on a high as Margrét Lára Vidarsdóttir scored four goals in Portugal to take her qualifying tally to nine.

Comfortable win
Although Iceland's hopes in Group 2 ended in August with a 4-2 defeat at home by the Czech Republic, later pipped to the finals by Sweden, Jorundur Aki Sveinsson's side have performed impressively and turned on the style against a nation without a point in qualifying. Katrin Jónsdóttir struck on nine minutes before Vidarsdóttir claimed her first midway through the first half. Jónsdóttir made it three ten minutes into the second period and Vidarsdóttir was on target three times in the final 23 minutes.
