Seier secures Danish call-up

Uncapped midfielder Louise Seier has been called up by Denmark coach Peter Bonde for the FIFA Women's World Cup qualifier away against Belgium.

Uncapped 22-year-old Louise Seier has been called up by Denmark coach Peter Bonde for the FIFA Women's World Cup qualifier away against Belgium on Sunday. The Skovlunde IF midfielder joins a squad of experienced internationals as they bid to go three points clear at the top of Group 3 by defeating the Belgians, who have lost all of their four group matches.

'We ought to win'
"We can and must win the Belgium game," said Bonde. "I saw their match against Spain [a 3-2 defeat], and they have some good players. But if we play fast and hard and get our tactics right we ought to win. We proved that in our home game against them, which we won 3-0."
