France travel at full strength

France will take a full-strength squad to Ewood Park in Blackburn for their crucial FIFA Women's World Cup qualifier against England.

Fatal defeat
Sunday's match pits Group 5's two leading nations against each other, with the home side holding a three-point advantage at present. With only the group winners progressing to the finals in China in 2007, a defeat could effectively end French hopes.

Mixed bag
Les Bleues warmed up for the fixture by finishing fourth at the Algarve Cup in Portugal. Their mixed bag of results included an impressive 1-0 win against China, but also two defeats, 4-1 against the USA and 1-0 by Sweden. Striker Marinette Pichon will be the focus of the French attack, with captain Sonia Bompastor and influential midfielder Sandrine Soubeyrand charged with supplying her.
