Denmark begin their preparations for next year's FIFA Women's World Cup in China at the end of the month with Kenneth Heiner-Møller's side taking the chance to get aquainted with conditions in east Asia in the Peace Queen Cup.
Stiff test
The tournament in the Korean Republic runs from 28 October to 4 November and will involve eight teams divided into two groups, including two sides that will contend next summer's World Cup. Denmark are one of those teams after they confirmed top spot in their qualifying group with a 1-0 win against Finland on 27 September.
Good preparation
"We want to be as well prepared as possible before the World Cup starts," said Heiner-Møller, whose side were beaten only once in qualifying. The Danes take on the United States in Kimhae on 29 October before facing the Netherlands in Chunan two days later. They finish the group stage against fellow World Cup qualifiers Australia in Suwon on 2 November, with the top two in each section progressing. The final takes place in Seoul on 4 November.
