Turkey coach Fatih Terim has named BV Borussia Dortmund’s 17-year-old midfielder Nuri Sahin in his squad to face Germany, in an 8 October friendly, and Albania. Nuri, who was born in Germany, helped Turkey to victory at the 2005 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and then inspired their run in the FIFA U-17 World Championship in Peru, which ended with a 4-3 semi-final defeat by Brazil on Thursday in which he scored one goal and made two.
