Guy Hellers will stay in charge of Luxembourg's national team as coach and sporting director for the next four years.

Coaching mandate
The Luxembourg Football Federation have given the 43-year-old a mandate to take charge until the end of qualifying for UEFA EURO 2012™, to continue the work he has done since taking over from Allan Simonsen in 2004. Hellers' side finished their qualification campaign for the UEFA EURO 2008™ finals at the bottom of Group G, but an unexpected 1-0 win in Belarus gave them reason for optimism despite defeats in their other eleven games. It was their first competitive win since 1995. Luxembourg have been drawn against Greece, Israel, Switzerland, Moldova and Latvia in 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying.
