Legend:
Turkey earned their first points of the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign courtesy of a comfortable win against Estonia, who played for over 70 minutes with ten men.
If Estonia had any intentions of taking the fight to their opponents then their game plan changed irrevocably when Enar Jääger was sent off for fouling Burak Yılmaz as Turkey mounted a promising attack. They held out until a minute before the interval, when Emre Belözoğlu struck, with Umut Bulut and Selçuk İnan increasing the margin of victory after the break.
Sergei Pareiko fielded a free-kick from Burak in the aftermath of the red card, but far from shying away from the challenge ahead, Estonia started to pressure their opponents on the counterattack. However, they fell behind to Emre's effort 60 seconds before half-time, and the lead was doubled a quarter of an hour after the restart when Umut headed in Sercan Sararer's left-wing cross.
Abdullah Avcı brought on fresh legs in the shape of Tunay Torun and Selçuk, a change which immediately bore fruit as the latter added a third from Arda Turan's pass 15 minutes from time.
