Legend:
Estonia secured their second FIFA World Cup qualifying Group D win as they doubled their margin of victory from their away game in Andorra last October.
Henri Anier broke the deadlock late in the first half and substitute Joel Lindpere added the second just past the hour. Defeat leaves Andorra bottom of the section, without a point or a goal, after six fixtures.
Andorra defended deeply from the start, closing down Estonia efficiently as well as threatening on the counterattack. Visiting defender Moises San Nicolas did well to deny Anier when he looked to break, while four minutes before the interval Sergei Mošnikov narrowly missed the top corner. In first-half added time Viking FK forward Anier, making his senior competitive bow, converted with a low finish.
The home side came out confident in the second period and not long after his 55th-minute introduction, Lindpere masterfully headed Tarmo Kink's flick past José Gómes. Andorra did not give up but Estonia kept pressing and Andres Oper headed on to the crossbar. Both teams resume on 6 September, when Estonia welcome the Netherlands and Andorra visit Turkey.
