Vladimir Granat

Clubs: FC Zvezda Irkutsk, FC Dinamo Moskva, FC Sibir Novosibirsk (loan)

• Started his career with FC Zvezda Irkutsk in the Russian third division before moving to Dinamo in 2005 at the age of 17.

• Unable to break into the Dinamo first XI, he spent the latter part of the 2006 season on loan at second-tier FC Sibir Novosibirsk.

• Back at Dinamo in 2007, he cemented his place in the team, starting 27 matches, the first of them on 18 March in a derby at home to PFC CSKA Moskva, as Andrei Kobelev's side finished sixth in the Premier-Liga; made only 11 appearances the following season, however, as the club finished third.

• Made his UEFA club competition debut in a 2009/10 UEFA Champions League qualifier against Celtic FC in Glasgow, winning the match 1-0 but losing the second leg 2-0 at home.

• Scored his first Premier-Liga goal on 17 July 2010 in 3-2 home win against FC Rostov; not on target at all in his 39 Premier-Liga starts over the extended 2011/12 campaign.

• Uncapped at international level when he was named in Russia's UEFA EURO 2012 squad he failed to get off the bench at the finals, eventually making his international debut in a 4-1 World Cup qualifying win against Luxembourg in August 2013.
