EURO 2024 Festival

Football fans can expect a unique public viewing experience in Berlin, with an amazing Fan Zone and inspiring Host City events. Keep your eyes peeled for the largest football goal in the world and a temporary artificial lawn at the Brandenburg Gate!

In addition to the sights and sporting events, Berlin’s diverse art and cultural scene will also be integrated into the festival programme. As part of the FUSSBALLKULTURSOMMER, concerts, installations, performances, DJ sets, workshops, readings and much more offer ample opportunity to delve deep into the capital’s big festival of football and culture, not only at the Fan Zone but throughout the entire city.

The Fan Zone Berlin consists of two sub-areas located in the immediate vicinity: the Fan Zone Reichstag, the heart of the 31-day festival, and the Fan Zone Brandenburger Tor, a temporary park and stage for the official Public Viewing.

What is the admission procedure at the Fan Zone?

Admission to the Fan Zone Reichstag is free of charge. Children under the age of 14 may only visit the Fan Zone if accompanied by an adult. Personnel and bag checks are carried out.

Does the Fan Zone Reichstag have a capacity limit?

The maximum capacity of the Fan Zone Reichstag is 10,000 people. In case of overcrowding, the “one in, one out” principle is used, whereby one person is allowed to enter for each fan who leaves the Fan Zone. Additional waiting times are associated with this.

Does the Fan Zone have special policies for bags or luggage?

Backpacks, suitcases, and bags larger than A4 are not allowed in the Fan Zone Reichstag. Only non-alcoholic beverages in plastic bottles or cartons up to 0.5l in size are allowed. Alcoholic beverages and glass bottles are forbidden. Please note that there may be delays due to bag checks at the entrances.

In the Fan Zone, you will find drinking water fountains and sunscreen dispensers so you can enjoy the football summer even in hot weather. Retreats and chillout areas in the shade offer protection from the sun and heat, especially for vulnerable groups.

📺 Fan Zone Brandenburger Tor: Public Viewing & Spectacular

Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate will provide the perfect backdrop for the official Public Viewing. This is the place to go to watch selected EURO 2024 matches on giant screens together with tens of thousands of other fans in one of the capital’s most iconic settings.

Framed by the world’s largest football goal, the Brandenburg Gate will be the most popular selfie spot in Berlin. At EURO 2024, we will also roll out the green turf for you and the Straße des 17. Juni will become a pop-up park for football fans, locals and guests from all over the world. On non-matchdays, films will flicker across the giant screen on five summer evenings.
