Brothers at EUROs: Baresis, De Boers and Nevilles

EURO time tunnel: Brian and Michael Laudrup missed out on lifting the trophy together in 1992, but there have been plenty of brothers at EUROs before ... and there could be a few more this summer.

UEFA.com's time tunnel – our look back at a different EURO each week – has reached 1992. It was a remarkable summer for Denmark, who lifted the trophy in sensational fashion even without Michael Laudrup, perhaps the country's greatest ever player. His decision to quit the team a few years earlier meant he missed out on UEFA European Championship glory with brother Brian, though the two did play together in the final tournament in England four years later.

They are not the only set of siblings to have gone to a EURO, with a record number in contention to take part in France together this summer.
