Hyundai handed over 19 vehicles to the UEFA Futsal EURO 2012 Local Organising Committee last week as preparations for the final tournament at the start of next year stepped up.

On-pitch preparations gathered pace on Friday when the finals draw took place at Zagreb's Hypo Expo XXI conference centre. Conducted by newly unveiled tournament ambassador Robert Jarni and his fellow former international Davor Šuker, the teams were divided into four groups of three, including match-ups between Spain and Ukraine, and hosts Croatia versus Romania and the Czech Republic.

Things are also gearing up nicely behind the scenes after the first 19 vehicles were handed over to the Local Organising Committee in Zagreb, attended by Mikael Salzer, head of UEFA women's and futsal competitions, and tournament director Boris Durlen. Marc Jurković, Hyundai auto Zagreb product manager, said: "Hyundai is a proud sponsor of UEFA, and Hyundai auto Zagreb is proud to be an official partner for UEFA Futsal EURO 2012 in Croatia."

By the time the finals kick off on 31 January the fleet of vehicles, including the SUV ix35, i30 and H-1 Wagon, will have grown to 73. The tournament takes place in Zagreb and Split, with the final on 11 February.
