UEFA's Executive Committee meets for the first time in 2011 when it convenes in Nyon on 27/28 January to discuss, among other items, the appointment of host nations for final tournaments.

The UEFA Executive Committee, chaired by UEFA president Michel Platini, will hold its first meeting of the year at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland, during the afternoon of Thursday 27 January and the morning of Friday 28 January.

The meeting of the Executive Committee is scheduled to end at 12.00CET on Friday 28 January and will be followed immediately by a press conference.

The main points on the agenda are:
• Appointment of the host nation for the 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Championship final tournament
• Appointment of the host nation for the 2011 UEFA Futsal Cup finals
• New membership of the UEFA Convention on Referee Education
• Update on UEFA Grassroots Day 2011

Media interested in attending the press conference are requested to inform UEFA via email to fame_accreditations@uefa.ch, with the words 'UEFA Exco Nyon' in the subject header, no later than midday on Wednesday 26 January.

The next meeting of UEFA's Executive Committee is scheduled for 20 and 21 March in Paris, prior to the UEFA Congress taking place on 22 March in the French capital.
