Khudaiev was the head of the medical department at Metalist Kharkiv for more than 20 years, and held the same position at the newly-formed FC Metalist 1925 from 2016.
He also became Ukraine’s national team doctor in 2016, and he was involved at national level in UEFA’s Football Doctor Education Programme (FDEP), which is teaching crucial football medical skills to doctors across the 55 UEFA member associations
